Well we were less than impressed that there wasn\u2019t internet available so we went to the realty and rented a MiFi\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tom-nan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/mpbility_simple_photo.jpeg?w=323\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3986\" width=\"493\" height=\"411\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MiFi is a service available from Verizon that is basically a cellular cable modem with a WiFi access point\u2026 Think of it as being able to get on the internet with a wifi enabled device\u2026 like the netbook I\u2019m writing on\u2026 anwhere.\u00a0 At the moment it is sitting here on a table at \u201cFlapjacks Pancake Cabin on the border of Great Smokey Mountains National Park and GatlinBurg, TN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I uploaded a 585 MB video to YouTube with it last night and I also made the last post with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speeds are pretty good considering it\u2019s a device that basically fits in the palm of your hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If I were a road warrior on the road all the time and always needed internet service on the road, this would be the thing to get.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can check it out at <a title=\"http:\/\/products.verizonwireless.com\/index.aspx?id=fnd_mobile_hotspot\" href=\"http:\/\/products.verizonwireless.com\/index.aspx?id=fnd_mobile_hotspot\">http:\/\/products.verizonwireless.com\/index.aspx?id=fnd_mobile_hotspot<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well I thought I\u2019d write about this\u2026 We thought we had wifi so we could post here while we were in the cabin.
