{"id":1980,"date":"2013-01-16T23:23:55","date_gmt":"2013-01-16T23:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tom-nan.com\/?p=1980"},"modified":"2013-01-16T23:23:55","modified_gmt":"2013-01-16T23:23:55","slug":"rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tom-nan.com\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There has been a lot of buzz on the Internet over the past couple of days about a kids rule book that was found by a young Citrus Heights, California Wal-Mart employee named Raymond Flores. \u00a0The book contains 158 rules, handwritten by a child that has to be around 7 or 8 years old. \u00a0Rule number 158 was not actually entered, there&#8217;s just a number for the rule.<br \/>\nThere is a lot of buzz because he is trying to return the book to it&#8217;s rightful owner. I think we have a lot to learn from this smart little kid.\u00a0In my opinion these rules go to the heart of what our mom&#8217;s and dad&#8217;s taught us when we were little. In my opinion they can be applied to life of kids and grown-ups alike. \u00a0I&#8217;m know guilty of breaking some them and I&#8217;ll bet most people are.<br \/>\nI transcribed the rules that Mr. Flores read in a video on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/raymond.flores92\">Facebook<\/a> page. \u00a0I know there are three spelling errors and I&#8217;m sure there are others. \u00a0Since I do not know where other spelling errors are I&#8217;ve corrected the ones I know about. Here my transcript of all of the rules:<br \/>\n1. No talking back<br \/>\n2. No Pushing<br \/>\n3. No Screaming<br \/>\n4. Be Safe<br \/>\n5. Listen<br \/>\n6. No being gross<br \/>\n7. Help others<br \/>\n8. Care with others<br \/>\n9. No being bad<br \/>\n10. Have fun at all times<br \/>\n11. No lying<br \/>\n12. No whining<br \/>\n13. Be positive<br \/>\n14. Don&#8217;t call each other names<br \/>\n64. clean up your messes<br \/>\n65. no eating other peoples food<br \/>\n66. go to bed at bedtime<br \/>\n67. Do your homework<br \/>\n68. Don&#8217;t have a party without parents<br \/>\n69. If there is one bathroom go to the bathroom fast<br \/>\n70. Have a parent guide you when cooking<br \/>\n74. Sit on your chair correctly<br \/>\n75. Drink water a lot<br \/>\n76. Don&#8217;t touch hot things unless with a parent<br \/>\n77. Try to get good grades on tests<br \/>\n78. Share<br \/>\n79. Try to bee good big sister\/brother<br \/>\n80. Stop at stop signs and stop lights<br \/>\n81. Wear a seatbelt<br \/>\n82.
