{"id":474,"date":"2008-07-01T07:00:56","date_gmt":"2008-07-01T13:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tom-nan.com\/archives\/474"},"modified":"2023-12-31T00:47:16","modified_gmt":"2023-12-31T06:47:16","slug":"night-11-the-farm-bed-breakfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tom-nan.com\/index.php\/2008\/07\/01\/night-11-the-farm-bed-breakfast\/","title":{"rendered":"Night 11 &#8211; The Farm Bed &amp; Breakfast"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve always heard about Bed and Breakfasts and never stayed at one.&nbsp; Nancy suggested we try one so we wouldn&#8217;t have to drive like crazy before today&#8217;s cruise.&nbsp; I liked the idea so we booked two&#8230;. one for last night and one for tonight.&nbsp; The change in plans helped free up some time which we were able to use to visit the Glacier and the Alaska Sea Life Center yesterday afternoon.&nbsp; Anyway, we had half of a little cottage and we were impressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" src=\"https:\/\/tom-nan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dsc_0022-3.jpeg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4485\" title=\"DSC_0022\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" src=\"https:\/\/tom-nan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/dsc_0033-3.jpeg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4486\" title=\"DSC_0033\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Farm Bed and Breakfast is located Just off the beaten path&#8230; or I should say Seward Highway, just as you get to Seward, Alaska.&nbsp; They have about 10 rooms.&nbsp; Service was a little more down home than a hotel and we save a lot of money on our car insurance&#8230; I mean room.&nbsp; Being it was our first stay in a B&amp;B and I have nothing else to compare it to.
