We’re at exit 103 northbound on I-57. We decided to pit-stop in Rantoul to see where we used to live and give the Book Bug a place to see. We will visit Frank Everitt Field, formerly Chanute AFB where all Air Force weather training was conducted. Tom attended Weather Observer school here in 1987 and he also went through Weather Forecaster school here in 1992. We plan to visit the library there so the Book Bug can get his picture.
