Just a quick note… I found an interesting Vietnam era (1971) USAF training film on YouTube that explains the mission of the Air Force Global Weather Central. While the sound effects might be a little cheesy I found it kind of cool and didn’t realize the military weather community was as advanced as it was in 1971.
A lot has changed since 1971, but the basic mission still remains. I thought a lot of my weather brethren (and non-weather brethren) might find it cool to look at some weather nostalgia.
