So last week I bit the bullet on trying to consolidate three separate WordPress installations into one multisite installation. The growing pains are minimal except images on our older posts. Some appear non-existent. Others are sideways after we re-upload using the WordPress editor. I was going to do a mass fix, but I’ve given up on the effort and will go back and edit a couple of posts now and then until I get it all fixed.
Ten years ago we went on a trip to Alaska, we drove up the ALCAN and back seeing many sights and visited several geocaches. We brought along a travel bug that we released in Whitehorse Yukon Territory. The travel bug made it’s way fulfilling its goal for about a year and then disappeared in a muggle geocache. Sad ending to a fun trip.
One of the places where we stopped was the Badlands National Park near Wall, SD. Apparently it is a relatively new national park. This image (NOT taken by me) was on bing.com the other day on the 25th anniversary of the Badlands becoming a national park.
I have no idea who the original photographer is on the image but I love how the sunset paints the Badlands in an orange glow.
Please bear with us while we fix things that aren’t right with our blogs. They are works in progress.
